Its 500 000 and Still Going for The BABY BENZ

PS
Why do you guys keep saying wait for the FL..isnt the FL allready out?

yes the facelift is out but just like a month ago and the sales just started in US. I say it again when BMW get their act together and times get better I'm pretty sure to E90 will be on top again. Drawbacks will happen sooner or later and now it has happen but it doesnt mean it cant change to the better again. C-class sold better this year and congratz to that but it doesnt mean this is going to happen every year from now.

Audi A4 is selling better than C-class and E90 in Europe. If the Audi had stronger image in US I think it would be the best selling car in the segment.

Can you explain that part please. And also, has the C class sales been as a result of BMW somehow 'dropping the ball' with the 3 series??

Yeah..what has BMW done ?
Or what crisis has hit BMW that havent hit the rest of the germans?

Im confused

No, I cant explain it. Talk to Eni about it or send email to BMW. I'm just a graphic designer, not a markeeting analyser. But I read enough to understand BMW are doing bad. All car companies are probably hurting now, just that some are hurting more than others.
Anyhow, this isnt the place to discuss BMW and how the company is feeling. Its neither posted in internal combustion and the thread is about C-class sales , not the company BMW.
Feel free to create another thread about the subject.

Bollocks. 1. You mentioned that, not me. 2. The thread is about MB C class sales, and consequently its rivals too. 3. Dont make statements you cant defend then.

I honestly dont even get why some members feel they have to defend 'everything' that's not to their liking thats mentioned about BMW on this forum.

Dont get upset now. No I cant defend it and you cant say I'm wrong either. I've explained the reasons why I think BMW E90 are doing bad, if its true or not I dont know. My statesments are based on what I read and I dont have the knowledge to analyse it deeper and this isnt the thread to do it. It deserves its own thread and for those knows better in this subject.

Meh bad excuses thats all..

BMW and MB are getting equally hurt by this financial crisis..
And there is no report of BMW dropping the ball YET..
And for sure not when it comes to the 3er..which is a much praised car..
both from journalists and fans..( even non fans)

Im not getting upset. But dont ask me to email BMW. lol :D Oh, and i must have missed your explanation..

And AFAIK, compared to loads of companies BMW are doing just fine and are nowhere near any jeopardy right now. Of course there's a crisis right now and sales/profits are down for the industry, but BMW aint sinking dont worry. Personally, i believe there was a diva like over reaction to the cancellation of the concept CS on this forum

Exactly

I say it again so everyone hear it more clearly this time. Congratz to the C-class for selling more cars than 3-series year 2008. Lets see if it can continue for the next coming years or if it's just temporary.
It's going to be very interesting to see how many E90's BMW sold when the next generation 3-series arrive and if the C-class W204 succeed to outsell the E90 or not.

Artist, market leader for 2008, I believe...BMW 3er was much earlier and there are more models on sale, so overall the 3er has sold more.

But, whatever the case, well done for the C indeed. There are 4 3er models, and only 2 C-class models, so this is pretty impressive. So much, so that I can hardly believe it... :D Did they leave the 3er carbrio and coupé out of this or something?

^what are you trying to say klier?
I know that the 3er has been the market leader for long..
and i know that 3er has 4modells.. but whats your point..
Im talking about today.. from 08 to now the C class is the market leader..
No matter how you twist or turn the wording..

PS
Its even greater knowing that the 3er consists of 4 modells..
:D

Sweet jesus, what is so hard to understand? Is it so difficult what I write?

More easy then: 3er has sold MUCH MORE THIS GENERATION, C class this year. Bravo. Time for some cake. And bacardi.

Well, just wanted to point out that this 'generation' of 3er has been on sale much longer than the W204 so...duh! lol :D

In any case, is this still being debated??

and you know this how?
We should not go to far with this when we dont have the facts. I doubt very much the Coupe is included here.

it says C-Class sedan worldwide market leader since the beginning of the year. No mention what they compare the C-class with.

It IS. Most notably in the states. And most other markets i think. Ive never for one seen a seperate '3 coupe' sales stats

When I see some facts I believe in it. Until I'm proven wrong that Coupe and Convertible are included I say its wrong. Go ahead, prove me wrong. I have seen it, posted by Eni.

Can someone tell me where to find sales for the E90 only?
