Agera Koenigsegg Agera R 0-300-0 km/h and 0-200-0 mph

The Koenigsegg Agera is a mid-engine sports car produced by Swedish car manufacturer Koenigsegg. It is a successor to the CCX/CCXR. The name comes from the Swedish verb 'agera' which means "to act" or in imperative form "(You) act".
Did they get any more detailed numbers (0-100, 0-200 km/h and in between) - it would be interesting for 100-200 and 200-300 km/h numbers - in comparisson to Bugatti Veyron SS

Love the way that car pops open the doors!! Probably the sexiest doors in business. Yes, even more than Lambo!! :t-cheers:

I don't think the VeyronSS would be able to live with this thing, though how well doesn't it take the corners because with so much power those rear wheels will light up when the boost kicks in and I wouldn't want to be hanging the tail out when that happened.

According to the Vbox in the record-video, the Agera reached 100 km/h in about 3,8 s and 200 km/h in ~7,9-8,0 sec.
So the Veyron is way ahead after the launch, but at high speeds the Agera starts to make advantage out of its less weight.

Almost 4.5 seconds faster than the veyron to 300. Quite remarkable.

Still cant match the refinement of the veyron though.

How it goes compare to Ferrari 458 ....

And nor could it be capable of taking full throttle on exiting a corner. As an example of excess taken to the extreme the Agera has no equal but I'm guessing it's a rough diamond among a handful of true gems.

That should be about right and is almoust right on the spot with GTurboR. There will be another 0-300 battle in French Sport Auto, end of the month in Number 600, racing cars included.

I'd have the Agera R over the Bugron any day. "Taking a full throttle on exiting a corner", wow, if that is a measure of performance, my old (r.i.p.) Polo must be very impressive.

No, it is not. But I can't see how the Bugron being AWD automatically makes it better. If anything, it is a drawback.

Who said being awd would make it somehow better???

I am just of the opinion that having all that horsepower and not being able to drop the throttle exiting a corner is such a waste... right or wrong it's just my opinion. OK are we good? :t-cheers:

And others are of the opinion the real waste is the one not able to use one's own posterior muscles, prefrontal cortex and right foot to measure out the power in judicious amounts, instead relaying on being able to use the throttle as a light switch.

ps. did I ever mention my dog can flip a light switch.
