I think Lexus will do an Infiniti and pull out of Europe in 5 years. Their cars are simply not competitive enough over here.

There is a market for these things. I mean here in the U.S. Beyonce has a tricked out Sprinter as do other celebs.

The freetrade agreement between EU and Japan removing the 10% duty could help Europeans to rediscover the Japan made cars.

Lexus will need all the help they can get. In 2018 only 75 Lexus LS were sold in the UK.

Imagine how many more S-Class, 7Series, Panamera or full fat Range Rovers were sold.

I really hope Lexus pulls out some stunners this year: LS F, LC F/Convertible and a new IS or GS. They're so damn slow with new product my goodness.

M

A shame really. The GS should be done over to be a A5/S5/Sportback/Panamera style car.

M
Yup, make it a legit A7 rival with the TT V6, an interior inspired by the LC and an infotainment with a modern interface. They have the capabilities but they lack courage and decisiveness. Toyota needs to reevaluate their kaizen approach because they really are teetering into "has-been" territory and may already be in it in some markets. A real shame.

The Lexus LM minivan is for Asia only, especially for Chinese very wealth family and established business man.

In China,Toyota Alphard(the prototype of Lexus LM) is a symbol of people's wealth level.Generally, the owner of Toyota Alphard is far more richer than the owner of normal S-Class.

In other words,if you saw a young guy in his twenties is driving a Ferrari 488 pista similar car in the streets of Chinese city, his father perhaps is riding in a Toyota Alphard.

According to Roadshow, Lexus will show the new LC convertible at this year's Goodwood Festival of Speed in the U.K., which kicks off July 4th, 2019. Expect a near visual carbon-copy of the concept – essentially an LC coupe sans roof. But Lexus still hasn't confirmed finite details like seating configuration, roof material (either fabric or metal), or performance.

WOW, another winner coming up. Too many cars and not nearly enough money. LEXUS.

M

Yes I'm waiting on the F variants too. Should be at least 600hp and bulletproof Lexus reliability.

Each brand has its mentality regarding the design of its EVs, here Lexus launches its urban with an aprouch to the original strategy of the i3, a lexus totally different from anything in its line (although similar in concept to the Toyota C-HR) , demonstrating that no one is clear about even the future preferences, if they are designs that do not stand out from their line brothers or more or less striking like this, personally I think there is room for both, simply because, like the manufacturers, the public also does not know very well what they want

First Lexus EV will be urban-focused hatchback — autocar
Lexus will make a long-awaited transition into fully electric propulsion with a forward-thinking small EV that is set to be revealed in concept form at the 2019 Tokyo motor show.
