For me, it would have to be the Laferrari. As awesome and insane looking that the P1 GTR is and as much as it appeals to the 10-year old in me, the Laferrari just has that italian style to it and it just seems like it's more aesthetically appealing to me. The engine and sound alone is enough to give it a solid boost over the Mclaren as well. I do like the center console on the Mclaren more because it shows you a map of the track that you're on and that is a big help for someone who's new to the track, however the seats on the Ferrari do look more comfortable and with it's center console you do get more of a race car feel to it. And the name is also a pretty good:
Laferrari FXXK(everything)

If we were comparing standard cars it would be the P1 for me. However, the FXX is a bigger departure from the standard car than the GTR is, so I would go for the Ferrari in this case.

FXXKIN' easy for me, the Ferrari beats the McLaren hands down if I had to make a choice between the two
(Of course, you could always get both, I presume)

I would take any car, they both blimming nice!! But the Ferrari just makes my heart beat a little bit faster!!

Can you keep your GTR at home and is it street legal ?

^Don't know and no, in that order. I don't think you can take it home due to what it says in this video but thinking about it, if you took it home, you'd only have to transport it everywhere.

At least you can actually take it home, unlike the Ferrari.

About the whole "take the car home" thing. There are lot of rich track rats with Porsche cup cars etc who pay race shops good money to store the cars, prep it and bring it it to track and provide track side support. What Ferrari, Mclaren are doing with FXXX, GTR etc is just the next step in that ladder. Might sound like a bad deal to us mortals, but there is definitely a market for it.
