Next issue in December will feature the Sports car of the year selection. Poor weather may have compromised the results (even snow) as per their Facebook, but nice selection :

I see : GT3 RS, Performante, McLaren 720S (blue in the brackground, open doors), Alpine, M5 (in a different picture). Will keep you informed when released, shall be middle of December.

Which track?
Tracks, I do not remember where they usually test, look at the one from last year and I guess you'll get the answer.
any news?
You can follow-up on their facebook for potential further news, though I don't think they will disclose the result before the test ;) ! I haven't checked (no FB account and I couldn't look at the thread this morning without logging in, don't know why).

Even if it's not going to win it's awesome see the Fiesta ST being in this comparison. Tells you how good the car really is. I mean, it's up against pure sportscars and cars that cost a lot more money. Most of them are dreamcars, not affordable to many of us here while the Fiesta ST is an affordable car that most people can afford.
See the ST here makes me a proud owner. :usa7uh:

Issue is out. Difficult without scanner to publish results. Main points :
- Test done on two circuits : Magny-Cours Club & Magny-Cours GP.
- 488 Pista selected as 2018 best car & broke record on both tracks.
- McLaren & Lamborghini either did not improve their laptime or did not go on track again, because published laps are from the previous test => unfortunate bias (seems the McLaren has been retested with Standard P Zero Corsa, but unclear).
- Club : Pista 1'16''06 ; 720S 1'16"80 ; Performante 1'17"17 ; GT3 RS 1'17"68 ; Vantage 1'22"25 ; M5 1'22"29
- GP : Pista 1'44''90 ; 720S 1'47"05 ; Performante 1'47"52 ; GT3 RS 1'50"36 ; Vantage 1'58"20 ; M5 1'58"39
- Poor performance for the Porsche taking into account it to ran on Cup 2 R (like the Ferrari)
- Surprisingly, Ferrari as or even more comfortable than the McLaren according to article
- Info on Cup 2 R :
+ when the standard Cup 2 loose traction in the wet on curve at 90kph, the Cup 2R does it between 70 & 75kph.
+ they consider it is 0.5sec faster / kilometer => 2.5sec advantage on GP track
+ will wear 30 to 40% faster than regular Cup 2

Since I actually own one of the cars in this test. What did they say about ST?
They must talk about other things and not only laptimes.

Worst lap times of all cars... but that's also the least expensive and powerful. Great chassis, poor brakes and unadapted suspensions on circuit. They don't say much more...
