Comparison tests Motorsport Magazine "Sportive de l'année"

Worst lap times of all cars... but that's also the least expensive and powerful. Great chassis, poor brakes and unadapted suspensions on circuit. They don't say much more...
Obviously, slowest laptime, didnt expect else but I thought they drove on normal street roads where this car will spend 99% of it's time.

Issue is out. Difficult without scanner to publish results. Main points :
- Test done on two circuits : Magny-Cours Club & Magny-Cours GP.
- 488 Pista selected as 2018 best car & broke record on both tracks.
- McLaren & Lamborghini either did not improve their laptime or did not go on track again, because published laps are from the previous test => u...
Scans??

Do you have lap times of A110 and M2?

They don't mention much about it unfortunately. It is treated in same section than the Megane, and as the Megane is French in a French magazine... they talk much more about it !

I dont get how the Pista can be more than 2sec ahead of the 720S in the GP circuit when there cornering and straight line speeds are virtually the same.

This proves there is more that determinate a lap time than corner and straight speeds.

I don't think the Pista will have better braking or acceleration out of corners than the 720S, so this time for the Pista seems suspicious to me.

As regards corner speeds and straight speeds, if people remember Chris Harris's P1 test at Portimao, the corner speeds and straight speeds were exactly the same on the Trofeos but the lap time was almost 2s faster. So probably the same deal with the Pista. Later braking, better traction, faster time.
