My new Allroad 3.0TDI

I had no clue that this car was made for this new a6 because i guess its not sold in the USA. I had seen the spy pics but then i never saw the final product

hehe, this engine is my first diesel and i love it!
As you do Mirage77, I love the LEDS. The car looks more powerfull in darkness with those lights.

Thanks! Yes the Allroad have air Suspension as standard. The air suspension is devided into fice different levels.

I can see why you get the Allroad now. Here the A6 isn't a hugely popular car, I'd say the 5er and E class are far more common!

Anyway, the A6 have made the top 10 list of best selling cars in year 2006. Thats really good for a big and expensive car as the A6.

Oh well, the best selling car is the Ford Focus, and before that the Ford Escort. We love our Fords for some reason (not me though)!

Top Gear once had a little presentation where they showed the best-selling cars in some major countries. These are the ones I remember.
UK = Ford Focus
Germany = VW Golf (that answer's your question!
)Japan = Toyota Corolla
Italy = Fiat Punto
Spain = Seat something...
France = some French car, can't remember which one...
And here, JC said, "Oh, BTW, our Focus is made in Germany, so we're essentially buying German."

I know we don't really have a British car to buy, now that Rover has disappeared, but we appear to be the only ones who don't buy British cars!
Mainly cause all the cheap ones (Rover) are rubbish!

It was sad to see Rover go under. Even if their modern cars weren't competitive, they were a solid part of the British Motoring History and that meant a lot of history, tradition and their own kind of prestige behind it. Really sad to see something like this happen.

To be honest I wasn't so sad, Rover have allowed a load of terrible cars to go on the road and some are still on the roads. I should know, we used to have a Rover, well went through about 3, and they only lasted about 3 years, after that they either rusted, or fell to bits, and were bad for safety. Now we have a Pug 406 as a replacement, and have had it for 8 years now, and it's lasting much better than any of the Rovers ever did!
I think the point where I relised Rover had really finished was when they starting selling rebadged Tatas, and sold them for more than great cars such as the Fiat Panda. The interiors were awful. You must remember the Top Gear episode when James I think test drove a Rover Cityrover undercover, and then somehow all the competition appeared behind the car, and James was saying stuff like, how does it compare to the competiton, quite funny to watch!

You know Rover better than me.
But I still think it sad when a great manufacturer with history and tradition goes under.
The last Top Gear episode I watched had Jeremy and Richard testdrive Korean and Malaysian cars and they didn't like any of them. I think the Hyundai Getz won in the end, but it was also the most expensive.
