As much as Porsche as tuned the rear engine bias out of modern 911s, it is still that and you have to drive it differently, if you want to really approach it's true limits. Trail braking and slow in-fast out is key. And when I say fast out, I mean "leap of faith" fast out.
Not judging any one's driving skill, but chances are if you have not been professionally instructed on a driving a 911 fast over multiple weeks, if not months, you are not driving it right. I would highly recommend Porsche's own many
driving classes. It took me riding shotgun with one of the instructors to realize the sky high limits of a modern 911. Having said that, I am still comfortable pusing an old M3 than my GT3 despite latter having way higher limits. But now I know it is my own limits and not the car's.
