Nazi cult murderer Charles Manson is rotting in hell!

If you're 100% certain as you've said in your post, why do you ask now and why are you confused at all?

I'm confused as to which of my posts contains "bullshit". I predicted you would be in favour of the death penalty, and I was proven correct. You then say I've come up with my "usual bullshit".

It just doesn't make sense, Pants.

The poster boy for why the death penalty should be applied has finally gone to hell!

The only thing that pisses me off is that taxpayers paid their hard earned money to keep that f$%king c**t alive for so f$%king long... That's why CALIFORNIA SUCKS!

Long live Texas and other conservative states that send scum like Charles Manson straight to execution.

Anyway, rot in hell chucky... Rot in hell you f$%king nazi bastard.
As my good friend that grew up in Albania during communist era told me last week " We are all sentenced to death"
On a more serious note, evil and the master of evil are real.

With regards to the death penalty- I am always conflicted.
When rage and anger gets the best of me, I want the death penalty.
When calmer heads reign, I think the best thing to do is incarceration even if I as the tax payer will have to pay for it.
There is evil in the world and that is true.

The EU wants to even forbid life long sentences, because people always need something to look forward to.
Look at that sick f#ck Breivik and the sentence he got. That's how the EU wants to see it. Absolutely crazy.

That I totally disagree with- that is taking it to the extreme.
It is not just crazy, but damn dangerous
The problem with lenient justice system is that eventually people will start taking the law into their hands.
So the idea of just a slap on the wrist for heinous crimes for me is an insult to the victims and the fabric of society.

If your beloved daughter or someone close to you were raped, tortured or murdered, I for one would love to see the offender dead and humiliated. Those who say's otherwise , I don't believe in you. Sorry.
However, I think it's easy to say things if you don't have seen it upclose but once it happens we will think differently.

I'm favour of death penalty. Dead murderers don't escape prison, dead murderers don't kill again. Death is the most reliable resource against murderers.

To quote Ayn Rand: "Pity for the guilty is treason to the innocent".

The highly convoluted nature of modern legal systems leave it extremely difficult to ensure that true justice is served. Said systems can be likened to a mutant giant squid/centipede crossbreed. Savvy lawyers operate on the fringes of the parameters of given laws and attempt to exploit (often successfully) loopholes to the fullest. They may be subjected to intense vitriol, yet it is what they are paid to do. And this will consequently lead to verdicts and sentences that can estrange-or reflect gross miscarriages of justice (in the genuine sense of the term). Whether it be civil, criminal or constitutional law, the notion that justice will be served is flawed at best.

Breivik is an example of the most empathy unworthy category of perpetrators. A death sentence may equate to salvation rather than punishment for those who have committted the most heinous of crimes ? And thus, the argument that death sentences prevent psychopaths from committing horrendous crimes is highly debateable. Torment is a component of the vengeance equation. A looming termination of ones' own life via noose, chair or injection may leave those guilty of premeditated, cold-blooded murder aloof, unphased. Untormented. Permanent banishment to the most uninhabitated ,remote, secluded, fruitless and desolate of this earths' locations may be a punishment that strikes genuine, panic-ridden fear into the hearts of the most hardened of criminals.

... which is why he's in prison.

True, but honestly, I've paid to stay in worse rooms than this...

.. which effectively either leads to slow death over a week or two, or, it results in them surviving, essentially free. Neither seems reasonable to me.

Then you need to get a new travel agent. :D

I agree, that room is far too opulent for any murderer. They should live a very basic existence for the rest of their lives, and life should mean life.

But the death penalty does not serve as a deterrent. It does not make right what they've done wrong. It just reduces the justice system to the same level as the murderers.

Also, there is an argument that it makes victims more likely to be killed in robberies, for example, because if they survive they can testify.

sadly the problem isn't gone as we've seen in charlottesville this summer, the probelem with liberalism (conservatism is still liberal ideology) is that it slides to the right when it gets in a crises, here's philosophy tube to explain it:
