Thanks :D Wish i could get one of each model but sadly the wallet isnt deep enough hehe
Hahaha, anyhow, you're getting a hell of a package. When you get to choose optional equipment you have to be cautious, otherwise it goes up €€ fast.
I think you picked the best options.
Black S60 is the way to go, even if you can only afford one new car :)

Good to hear that ☺, sadly no dealer has the four-c so I have not tried it, but from the videos it seems pretty sweet. Will update once I get the car, should be around June or July sadly.

I tried a 4C V70 in 2009, I thought it was rubbish, the standard setting was the best compromise of them all, a standard R Design suspended V70 is a better car than a 4C one IMO, which is what we bought.

A guy I work with has a 2015 S60 with 4C, it's no better IMO than the 2009 V70 I tried, not worth the money.

Since i'm getting the car through the company leasing i get Business edition +
Summum (lots of stuff in it like xenon, keyless etc)

On top of that i have already added:
  • Four-C Aktivt Chassi
  • Parking assisten Front/back (with camera on back)
  • Rex 17"
  • The gear thing on the steering wheel
  • Volvo on call package (gives me the app and lets me lock the car, set a timer for making the car warm at designated time and more)
  • AND the sport seats :) and its leather.
So all and all it will have decent package :D

No awful, I'd ditch the 4C and change up to either R Design or Summum + Sport, the S60 needs the 18 or 19 inch alloys to look good, on 17's it looks woefully under tyred.

True :D i realized that also. Actually removed the Driver support shizzle, felt like its just tons of sensors that would make me mad while driving. Other then that i have tons of other stuff in the package. Pretty much at the same price as the BMW more or less.
And yes the black color looks fantastic :D the downside it gets dirty fast specially during winter.

I watched this video which convinced me how much of a difference 4C makes (start at 12:40):

ITs a pretty big change how the chassis behaves. Allt of this by pressing a buttons sounds amazing.
I already have the Summun but R Design dont really add much beside a stiffer Chassis. Why would that be better then 4C exactly? i thought the whole point of 4C is to adapt the stiffness and the Chassis based on your driving need or is there someone i'm missing?

If you actually drive an S60 with 4C then have a go in an R Design I really don't think you'll find it worth the additional cost. BTW how often do you find roads in Sweden with corrigations like Tiff drove on?

Anyway whichever way you look at it the S60 is a fine car and I would own one over the F30. However I think the S60 you've built looks like a taxi, basic black, small wheels, very plain jane. It wouldn't take much to turn your taxi spec into a really sexy ride.

Congrats Vampyren with your Volvo S60 :-) You've configurated it perfectly. R-Design brings only a harsher ride, which you don't necessarily need when you use your S60 on a day to day basis.
Wish you many safe miles.

I will be actually be getting a nicer rim myself, these 17 inchers are what comes with the car and to be honest i do like the look of those, maybe i use them for winter hehe. The cost of getting a better RIM from the dealer is insane so that's why you see that on a picture.
The point of the video was to show the cars chassis behavior when you need a sportier ride not that i drive on a bumpy road like that :)

Although i agree the picture you attach is really good looking :D

Thanks mate, yes that is also why i dont take R-Design. I had a BMW with sport Chassis and didnt like it so much. Always felt it was to stiff and i couldn't really relax when i was on a "bumpy" road so unless i can change the behavior with something like 4C i wouldn't select the harder chassis or bumpers.

Mick this is a Volvo the R Design doesn't give a harsh ride like a S Line Audi or Msport BMW, it's firm but still very compliant.

Also if vampyren ever wants to lower his car he can't with the 4C chassis.

Of course. If it isn't an Audi, every Volvo, Hyundai or Jaguar is better than the Germans.

Anyway whichever way you look at it the S60 is a fine car and I would own one over the F30.

Congrats at your new Volvo @vampyren, this is not directed at you. Just don't pay much attention to KiwiRob, he is an anti German car (sans VAG) troll.

Whichever way you look at you come across as an angry fanboy.

I doubt you've ever driven or owned a Volvo, I have. I also replaced a 3er Tourning Msport with a V70 R Design so I know from experience that the Volvo had a far more compliant ride than the BMW, the handling wasn't as good, buyt the ride comfort streets ahead.

As for being anti German everything I've owned in the past 8 years has been German, except the V70 and a Renault Kangoo, BMW, Mercedes, VW, Audi, MINI all German designed and engineered.

So maybe you should crawl back under your rock and stay our of discussions where you have no valid comments to make.

Sorry to have caused a car war here. We all have different point of views and preferences.
All these cars are great and each have their pro's and cons. I really dont think any of these top cars is much better or worse. Its the last 5% and has to do with the personal preference that makes someone select this or that. I could easily go for BMW or MB but i just like the seats and a few other things about Volvo. I actually got a call from the BMW dealer today (for the second time). He lowered the price for the deal i got from him. I have to go in and see what he's cooking :D seems they are very eager to sell these 320D models with avantage package. I doubt it will be as good of a deal as for Volvo still.

Don't fight guys. Everyone likes different cars. No need to hate.

At the end of the day, we all know Volvo is absolutely superior to pretty much any car on the road, so there should not be any arguing at all.

Vampyren, those wheels are good looking and as you say would make a good set of winter wheels.
The Volvo you made does look a bit normal, but Volvos are usually satisfyingly invisible.

They don't stand out and shouldn't. They don't crave for attention. They are what they are and they know it.
Now, if you do get new aftermarket alloys, we'll need pics, mate
