2019 Bentley Continental GT Convertible: 207-MPH Luxury Droptop

Open, it's simply drop-to-your-knees beautiful.

And closed, the canvas-top appears to be tighter-fitting than on its' predecessor. Nice indeed.

Now...bring on the Flying Spur !

As the convertible I prefer the Dawn but wouldn't mind wafting in this in the southern coast of France or Croatia. The interior is too perfect and great value for money as Bentley haven't skimped in any area.

I'm not much of a cabriolet person either. :D

I was never a fan of the 2+2 convertibles, maybe cuz it's been always associated with old rich women or rich college girls in my mind haha.

Spyders are a whole different story though, i'd take Pista spider over the coupe anyday. :D

The proportions of the ragtop do not seem to match body mass.
This is one of the design challenges of ragtops.

Coupe all the way in my book.

Not bad....not bad at all.

Conti GT coupe > Wraith (although not exactly in the same price bracket) and Conti GTC < Dawn. And S-class cabrio = Conti GTV. And just for the sake of being even more confusing, S-class cabrio > S-Class coupe. Those are my final answers.

The proportions are immaculate, particularly the short, descending rear deck. I like it even better than the coupe.

Same here. If it isn't a spider or a phallic roadster like the SLS or AMG GT I am not interested.

Good point. The shutline of the coupes' retractable rear wing is a bit of an eyesore. A seemingly petty yet annoying element on an automobile that is otherwise quite close to flawless.

As expected .....it’s gorgeous. But it’s not the most gorgeous convertible on the market right now; for me, that must surely be the Aston Martin DB11 Volante.

As gorgeous as the Conti GTC is, I also feel that some competitors have very compelling offerings. BMWs' new 8 cabriolet, for example. Absolutely lovely. And the upcoming Aston-Martin DBS Volante should be an eye-feast as well. Dare I include the current 991 and upcoming 992 Carrera cabriolets ?

It's a good time to be in the market for a luxury two seater. Moat of them are very good. The Bentley's unique selling point is unadulterated quality and craftsmansgip without paying Phantom and Mulsanne money. Factory ordered, its probably the one that will feel most personal.

However more recently the DB11 AMR has been incredibly strong in comparisons against the Continental GT. Comfortable coupes with a characterful V12 are special and will become rarer with time.
