The Subaru Impreza is a compact car that has been manufactured by the Subaru since 1992. It was introduced as a replacement for the Leone, with the predecessor's EA series engines replaced by the new EJ series. It is now in its sixth generation.
I understand you. 320 PS from a 2l (160 PS/l) and 8.000 RPM for a turbochared engine. This one surely runs the N-Ring under 8:00 min. I would love to see such a version of the BRZ.
Boss, rumour mill on BRZ is that very limited numbers of the car are destined for SA this year. I don't like buying a new model in its first year anyhow so the BRZ trip is a while away. Maybe an STI?
There might be an STI version ome time later, but no need to think of any turbocharged version. The only possible thing is a TRD supercharger kit. STI cannot put the turbocharged FA16 or FA20 if the standard BRZ doesn't have it. It is like expecting a BMW 1M CSL to get the S65 engine instead of a further improved N54Tu.
