812 [2017-2024] [Official] Ferrari 812 Superfast

The Ferrari 812 Superfast (Type F152M) is a front mid-engine, rear-wheel-drive grand tourer produced by the Italian sports car manufacturer Ferrari that made its debut at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show. The 812 Superfast is the successor to the F12berlinetta.
They have more body roll than I expect for this type of car. They're gorgeous though. They never show the Aperta open top version.

Regarding the Competizione's design, there are some days I like it, some days I am ambivalent, and other days I find it OTT, particularly with regards to the aluminum panel and vortex generators replacing the rear window. It doesn't walk that fine line of elegant and aggression that its predecessors, the TdF and GTO, had done so well.

So they moved up the power peak by 7500rpm to get 4% more power whilst losing 4% off peak torque. Is that really a good thing? The engine probably produces less power than the standard 812 up to 8500rpm. I guess they'll make up for that with shortened gearing.

Competizione:

"Look how the massacred my boy"

Even the f'ng Novitec version looks better than that POS bodykit.

Making it look better than what Ferrari did to it won't be difficult for anyone, not even Mansory *gasp*

There are aspects of it I like: the front headlights, the rectangular exhaust tips right at the edge, the wheels, the mesh grille, the vents aft of the rear wheel. But the vortex generator panel and that CF blade across the hood, while I am sure are functional, just looks daft. Especially that vortex generator panel. I am on the fence regarding how they partially obscured the rear lights.

Let me help you out: they suck. I like the CF blade, don't dislike the front, but pretty much hate the rear.

Form follows brain farts, I guess.
I thought the diameter of the rear light circles on the Superfast a tad out of proportion. Size-wise, partially obscuring somewhat right-sizes those light circles to my eyes, but in the process, it gives off an aftermarket tuner vibe.

The CF blade, while I am sure functional, ruins the hood's visual flow.
