Huracán [2014-2024] [Official] Lamborghini Huracan STO

The Lamborghini Huracán is a sports car manufactured by Italian automotive manufacturer Lamborghini replacing the previous V10 offering, the Gallardo. The Huracán was revealed online in December 2013, making its worldwide debut at the 2014 Geneva Auto Show and was released in the market in the second quarter of 2014.
Speaking of the Bridgestone Potenza Race tires that everyone blames for STO's mediocre lap time performance - they have been recently tested and are pretty much in line with Trofeo Rs and faster than Cup 2s.

Yes, I have seen the same. So then it is even more difficult to understand why the STO isn’t faster.

Trofeo R still seem to be slightly better.
It seems that the Performante is still the fastest Huracan version.

Why STO isn't the fastest? Simply because it has RWD and no active aero.

Shmee's car is back at this garage. For three months it sat at Lamborghini Pangbourne on a "Sale or no return" basis.

I guess nobody wanted to lay out all that dosh for a shit colour scheme.
The scheme is also so personally attached to him that buying the car would be like putting on a condom that's been used by Shmee.

He could at least have removed the yellow decals and repainted the calipers black to tone the car down.

Hats off for choosing a bold spec instead of wrapping the car. It can be a regrettable decision. Now he has £300k tied up in that car which has seats that he hates and doesn't find comfortable.

Looking ahead I think he will take a massive loss on the $1.5-2m Zenvo when it's time to sell it. 💀

I don't think that STO is for long in his collection. I think he wanted to make quick profit, market crashed in UK, and then he realized that he will need a Lamborghini for the Lamborghini 60th anniversary events.

In his video he stated that it’s technically still for sale if anyone wants to buy it from him at market value.

In his video he openly states that he likes bright colours. But there are bright colours which will attract certain buyers - like Porsche’s Lizard Green - because it’s either a launch colour or well-matched to the image of the vehicle, and then there are bright colours and combos which just turn out garish and tasteless. And that’s exactly how his STO turned out: simply, no one wants it. I bet that if it was more conservatively coloured, he’d have found a buyer.

As for his zthenvo acquisition - I reckon his purchase is being heavily subsidised by the manufacturer in order to leverage Shmee’s exposure.

It also doesn't help that the car market has softened. It's not 2021-2022 Q2 when you could sell almost 6-12 month car to a dealer at list or above. Winter time isn't the best time to sell a super car at the optimal price. There are currently 16 STO for sale in the UK, one of which has been listed for sale since April. It's an in awful colour. White with blue highlights.
