The Maybach Night Series is the solution here. Initially the option was limited to Black or Matte Black, now you can get the black shadow chrome effect with any color.I don’t understand why they don’t offer a black chrome option for all the shiny bits. Rolls does this and it looks spectacular on the Ghost and Cullinan black badge models. Mercedes really needs help with the details. Some little things would go a long way.

The night series has black chrome grill and window trim surrounds. I think it's the same option that's also available on a new E53 that I saw recently, and it looks quite good.
