Kia, formerly Kyungsung Precision Industry and Kia Motors Corporation, is a South Korean multinational automobile manufacturer headquartered in Seoul, South Korea. Founded in 1944, it is South Korea's second-largest automobile manufacturer, after its parent company, Hyundai Motor Company. Official website: Kia
The car is on Dutch roads now. Saw two of them yesterday, both black.

I have to say my jaw dropped a bit, it looks very special modern and cool. I am a huge fan of the design strangely enough. Wow, a lot better IRL than in pics.
I probably like it even more than the Ionic 5, which is another fine looking car. And both are indeed no less premium than a BMW or Mercedes, @Sunny. They're also 1/3th the price of a comparable Bimmer/Merc.

I've experienced the EV6 "in-the-metal" at my local KIA dealer. It is indeed splendid in terms of exterior/interior design and fit/finish. As far as I could tell, the infotainment system is relatively user-friendly (I liked the Polestar 2 more in this particular context). This will be a successful automobile for KIA.

I feel like it's something Chris Bangle could have created......it's pretty radical and cutting edge, yet it works and looks fresh.

... hard to justify paying a premium for an EQEgg over this.

Absolutely. Wholeheartedly agree. Save the VAG "J1" duo, the Audi Q4 etrons and...maybe...the BMW iX, I am left patently unimpressed by the BEV offerings of German manufacturers. The Koreans, Tesla and soon the Chinese and Lucid, are in full attack mode.

I think they look amazing from the side and rear, but there is something wrong about how they look front on, the cabin is too wide for the body, or something like that, it looks a bit odd.

Kia is one of the few manufacturers breaking boundaries on designs. The new sportage is bold, confident and gorgeous.

However, it’s inevitable that some designs won’t be to everyone’s liking. With that said, I find the design of the EV6 interesting and acceptable.

A Kia that destroys 99.9% of all BMWs ever made. With eLSD and drift mode.

Interesting. KIA/Hyundai is the current star of the car world, IMHO. And the days of VAG are counted if this keeps going. A splendid piece of kit they have produced.
And like @Gianclaudio I like the Kia version even more, so I hope there'll be a GT version of the Ionic 5 too!

I saw a silver KIA Ionic very recently. I was actually very taken with it, it looked to me, particularly fetching! Slightly off topic, but when the original Kia Sorento's came out my family rated those too, but we opted in the end for a Freelander. We had alot of fun in it!:)
