***Photoshoot: 1989 Mercedes-Benz 500SL***

Took some time to photograph the 500SL in a cool setting. I figured on this rainy and drab day the local trainstation yard would be an ideal and industrial-looking setting which they sometimes use in car magazines. The big puddle of water on the floor also made me decide for this location because of the cool reflection shots one can take with them.

The shots are a mixture of HDR shots created out of RAW files and normal compressed JPG's. If anyone wants a certain photo in the original 3008 x 2000 format, let me know.

Enjoy. :t-cheers:

Brah, I think the second photo would be fantastic with slightly different framing; the application of the basic rule-of-thirds principle for example.

I think you shot the car at a very flattering profile.. perhaps I cropped it a bit tight but placing the car (and horizon line) off centre adds to drama, IMO.

But very nice : )

That is a great idea actually. I actually did play around with the images, cutting and pasting and rotating them to try different methods. On that particular picture I felt it would look more interesting if the car was in the center and one could also see a bit of the background as it would influence the overall appearance and tone of the photograph. But great idea indeed and your cropped version with the law of thirds looks fantastic. :t-cheers:
