Photoshooting at night

The lowest amount of ISO? No my friend I think you are wrong. What ISO were you using? And what was your apeture set at it must have been small since you have depth of field.

I think the picture that Zorro was talking about is a little underexposed or more lighting would have been better for the situation.

I see a dent on the car on the first picture, how did that happen?

Nice pictures though.

What camera are you using?

HI BMWFREAK!

We were using Iso 200, so not that low... And the apeture on the pic that Zorro was talking about we had it set on 9 I think. That picture is a little dark as you say... it was getting really dark :D .

The camera is a Nikon D70s...

Take care!

Very nice camera you have there.

The was at 200..... hmmm....you know it would have been interested to have seen the same exact shot in 300, 400, 500 and have seen how it got, then again the noise would have increased as well.

Have you seen the D80?

* first of all you have to have a tripod
* then, the ISO-value should be as low as possible
* increasing the shutter time, but then you gotta have a tripod!
* no flash
* don't know what it's called in english, but maybe the dazzle, you have to set on high, , to let some light in, and some deep in the pic
* resolution on highest, since the pics are dark
* good fantasy :)
* you ahve to try several times, cause you can always get blurred pics. It happens to me to.
* last but not least, Phostoshop!

hope it helps :)

Thanks a lot! I think I'm going to buy a small folding tripod in the near future, so I can make better use of my camera. Photoshop comes in very handy indeed if one wants to increase the contrast or change the brightness. I also used it in the past to make a picture in which a part of the image was made black and white, and the rest was left in colour. So good fantasy is a must indeed :usa7uh:

Oh yea. But if you take a look at another thread where the Canon 400D is presented you will notice that I was saying that the segment for intro cameras is changing. For the money the D80 is a good camera, however, the D200 still has a good amount of features that seperates the D80 from it. It depends what photography you do. I, for example, shot aviation photography and for that I feel I need the D200's 5FPS. I wish the D80 would have higher FPS, but that would put it a little to close to the D200 territory. As it is right now the D80 has a lot in common with the D200. The viewfinder, 11 area focus, etc. are just a few of the good things that have been put on the D80.

I am now looking at the Canon 400D, slightly, but I am still looking. It seems like a good camera, but once again I am dissapointed with the fps just like I was with the D80. I think the trend now is making semi pro or what one would call 'amateur cameras' with the same censors or just as much megapixels as their siblings. This shows that maybe the pro cameras are going to go up on mps. Its a constant battle for this camera manufacturers.
