I never thought I will ever have the chance to drive these cars together at the same time, however @Mr. Mercedes made it possible.
The two of us drove his 992 GTS and his Ferrari 296 GTB back to back, over the same mountain passes. The uphill section of the pass consist of short straights connecting the sweeping medium to high speed corners. The middle section of the pass consists of straight undulating roads, and slight bends follwed by blind crests, . The final downhill section begin with tighter S bends before opening up to more sweeping medium to high speed corners, followed by a straight run to the end of the pass, and to the start of the uphill run again.
We completed 3 full runs of the mountain pass. On the first run, Mr. Mercedes lead in the Ferrari while I followed the Porsche. On the second run, Mr. Mercedes lead in the Porche while I follow in the Ferrari. On the final run, I lead in the Ferrari while Mr. Mercedes follow in the Porsche.
There is so much to take in, so much to unpack. For now I will share this photo and say a huge thank you to @Mr. Mercedes for making this possible, and turning dreams to reality. The memmories of the drive, and the drive afterwards through the city will be forever locked in my mind.
