20 seconds faster than in Supertest 1/2004: Exclusively for sport auto, Porsche test and development driver Jörg Bergmeister drove a lap time on the Nordschleife in the Carrera GT with the newly developed Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 N0. Really impressive. I expected around 10-14 seconds faster laptime. But not 20! Tyre progress does wonders. But still shows just how amazing and legendary the Carrera GT still is after two decades...

Also, how good is Jörg Bergmeister? This makes me want a re-test with him driving an actual production version of 918 on Cup 2 R.

It's a shame we don't have complete data for Marc Basseng's lap.
Also, there's couple of odd corner speeds that were clearly clocked at different points compared to Sport Auto's methodology.
