It's a bit reminiscent of the Piech

Will this relegate the GT3 Touring Package to runner-up on "My Favourite 992 List" ?

gotta print that money. yeesh!
Pretty much. No one is going to buy this car to daily. It will be like a pokemon card for the very wealthy.

Used 992 GT3 are currently listed for 40-50% over list price. Expect the Sport Classic to resell for collectors level money.

Speaking of "What's Next ?"...

Any news on Porsches' (potentially ICE Panamera-replacing) "Landjet" entry ? Now that Audi has recently presented its' Grand Sphere, I would think that Porsche (and Bentley) would soon follow with their own derivative concepts.

Just yesterday I saw spy pics of a second refresh for the Panny expected for 2022.

So far, the strategy with the Panamera seems to be the same as with the Macan. Which leads me to believe there won't be another ICE Panamera.

I should have articulated it more clearly: I meant the BEV entry that would replace/retire the ICE Panameras.

I believe there is room for a more upmarket EV above the Taycan. I think Porsche said the same a while ago. A more luxury alternative so to say.

A Bentley BEV?

I seem to recall having read that the Bentley "Landjet" BEV derivative will be a large elevated ride-height, shooting brake similar, sports activity vehicle. It appears that original plans regarding a J1 (Taycan/eTron GT)-based 4 door sedoupe have long been scuttled.

This makes a lot more sense than that stupid car Mercedes is trying too build, it's a damn shame Porsche didn't look at making this into a production car.

Porsche

Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG, is a German automobile manufacturer specializing in high-performance sports cars, SUVs, and sedans, headquartered in Stuttgart, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. Owned by Volkswagen AG, it was founded in 1931 by Ferdinand Porsche. In its early days, Porsche was contracted by the German government to create a vehicle for the masses, which later became the Volkswagen Beetle. In the late 1940s, Ferdinand's son Ferry Porsche began building his car, which would result in the Porsche 356.
