In 2012, the Bentley EXP 9 F was presented at the Geneva Motor Show - the first concept car of a modern SUV from Bentley. The concept was designed by Dirk van Braeckel and developed by Bentley Crewe's based design department. A certain amount of criticism was expressed to the address of the concept, which, in my opinion, is not deserved.
Some design techniques inspire masters even now: a smooth bend from the front central tunnel upwards, includes controls and goes into the central display with a thin silver edging. We saw a similar solution in the Hybrid Kinetic H600 by Pininfarina sedan in 2017, most likely the new Mercedes S-class 2021 will use the same center console concept.

The Bentley Bentayga debuted at the IAA Frankfurt Show in 2015 and it is an evolution of the EXP 9 ° F concept car. Wolfgang Dürheimer, chairman and chief executive of Bentley Motors, comments: "The Bentayga is truly the Bentley of SUVs. It redefines luxury in the SUV sector and offers a genuine Bentley experience in any environment, thanks to a combination of unparalleled attention to detail, go-anywhere ability and cutting-edge technology. The Bentayga is the next step in our brand's bold future. "
Bentayga organically joined the Bentley family of cars, has pronounced family features and is easily recognizable in everyday life. The Bentayga design takes derivatives from the Bentley Flying Spur and Bentley Continental GT.
Most recently, the world saw the brand new models of the Bentley Flying Spur and Bentley Continental GT, which gives us the opportunity to imagine exactly how the Bentayga Gen.2 might look. I will take the available features from these models to create a vivid image of an SUV of one of the most worthy automobile brands.

It should be noted and this is obviously the Bentayga Gen. II will not look that way, it will be given more individuality, endowed with its unique character, while maintaining the best traditions of Bentley.

In addition to the external image, it is always interesting to see and imagine how the car will look inside. Welcome aboard - Bentley Bentayga Gen.2 interior.
For your attention presented three possible options for the interior.
The first, in my opinion, corresponds to current trends vividly presented in the modern Bentley lineup.

The second interior, designed by the center console, is inspired by the ideas and traditions of previous generations of Bentley interiors, such as the 1992 Bentley Brooklands.

The third version of the interior, aims to emphasize the modern vision of the Bentley tradition. The center console with a silver line emphasizes the shape of a wide-open antique bowl and symbolizes abundant opportunities. The side air vents are made in the form of a forward and reverse letter “B” and are stylized as arrows pointing to the cardinal points, as a symbol of freedom of choice, where all paths are open and reachable.
A double silver line with an side air vent resembles an antique arrow and emphasizes swiftness when reaching the goal. The lower part of the center console, designed as the lower front contour of the helmet of an antique warrior, reflects the willingness to conquer new horizons. The presented antique motives in turn reflect the increased interest of the world community at the turn of the century in the antique heritage in world culture.

It should be noted and this is obviously the Bentayga Gen. II will not look that way, it will be given more individuality, endowed with its unique character, while maintaining the best traditions of Bentley.

This is too Chinese domestic manufacturer rips(Borrows) many luxury class cues for their C-Segment SUV and call it the X7:D

Still looks crap. As Bob Lutz said, the Lincoln Navigator is what the Bentayga should've looked like. Atleast take inspiration for Gen2. When the Mulsanne and Flying Spur are some of the biggest cars on the road and the SUV on offer is puny in comparison to the Escalade/Lincoln then you have a perception problem

It came quite unexpected, were there any mules or something?
Those rims are beautiful, a good update to the ones introduced on the Flying spur

Strange, I actually think that concept they showed in 2015, the EXP9 F, is a far more appealing vehicle than the Bentayga that is based on the Touareg, Cayenne, Q7 and Urus. The concept has more personality and has the upright look of a proper luxury SUV, a la G-Wagon and Range Rover. Then again it’s all subjective.

Now something like this would have been really hot. They have another chance to get it right with whatever (an SUV no doubt) replaces the Mulsanne.

Uh no friend, that won't be happening.

I have to agree with you on that one, where I live in the Middle East I've seen more Bentaygas that's Flying Spurs, Conti GTs and Mulsannes combined. People tend to love them since they want luxury vehicles but live in a country with terrible roads, a low riding vehicle doesn't make sense so overwhelmingly everyone is buying SUVs from high-end luxury to utility and eco, also petrol is cheap here.

I have to agree with you on that one, where I live in the Mi...

Its the same in Russia with there not so good roads, these are thick on the ground, the Range Rover used to be the SUV of choice but I think the Bentayga might be pushing it close.
