You guys need to research Rivians production techniques with their chassis and integrated suspension, batteries, motors and you’ll realize why Ford is one of their largest investors. Wouldn’t make much sense for Ford to pump so much money into them and then try and compete.
So far there are only 4 trim levels for the F-150 Lighting:Isn't the F150s ability to straddle both uses cases, the reason why it's one of the most sold vehicles in the US?
The by far largest threat to the German automotive industry would be a "Rot/Grün/Rot" coalition government. A death knell regarding further investment in German-based facilities and, quite possibly, a trigger for a large-scale corporate exodus to other, less "automotive hostile" locations. Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Austria beckon. Perhaps the U.K. as well.
Their management team is incredible. This will be a $250b company by end of 2023 is my guess.
On the contrary, I think it looks very good, what you mention precisely, in my opinion it is a great design success and the only thing I remember since I saw it for the first time, the rest is a vulgar and wild pick up, but that front It manages to be very groundbreaking and striking without resorting to giant grills or vulgar accessories copied from others but in a very original, ultra modern and subtle wayI can't stand the front. The light-bar with those perpendicular ellipses looks so naff and un-rugged.
Hah!
Hahahaha. 250 billion! What a number to come up with. You have any idea how much money that is? For a company that has made a grand total of 5 cars?
250 billion. LMFAO. As much as all German brands combined and then some.
(In before @Cashmere comes ups with some insane statement on how this is exactly what's going to happen)
