Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+

From a hardware perspective, this really is an exceptional device. Really considering a switch from my iphone.
Having played with it quite a bit, effing gorgeous phone (and I am iphone guy).

This little guy is calling y'all...

Come to the light.
Come. To. The. Liiiight.

iPhone stopped really innovating after the iPhone4s. Samsung has been the leader ever since and the new S8 is no different. If I ever consider a new phone or lose my current one this is the phone I'd get.

Looks nice.

I'll still wait for a new iPhone. Simply dislike Android with a passion. But the Samsung hardware is awesome.

It is indeed amazing looking.

Samsung has been the leader ever since and the new S8 is no different.

Except that the iPhone 7 was the very best until this S8 came to life.

And the next iPhone will top the Galaxy S8.

And then Samsung comes with an S9 which is best again.

That's the pattern.

What a phone, what a phone... In every way!

This will definitely be replacement for my Note4 which works perfectly for 2 years already and this one is definitely worthy replacement! Kudos to Samsung! Can't wait to get my hands on S8+...(y)

I think I will go back to Samsung, the phone looks absolutely fantastic and Samsung has really stepped up with the quality of the hardware. It seems like they have also tone down their software overlay so it is much closer to the stock android experience.

That's not an excuse. Why don't they use bigger battery then? Sony has 4k since 2015. As a potential buyer of S8 I'm hugely disappointed.
Sony's 4K display isn't really at 4K at all times, and the feedback from all the reviewers have said that 4K on a phone is over kill for most people. As for the battery, after what happened to the Note 7, Samsung is taking the safer option and sort out the reliability of their batteries first before going for a higher capacity unit or a higher density one.

Samsung did say with the new batteries on the S8, it will retain 95% of its charge after 2 years of "typical usage" vs 80% on the S7.

Some advise guys and Sunny as you seen them and played with them..

I currently have a s7edge and I phone 7 I prefer the Samsung for almost everything except I find emails in Samsung much slower to download.

I am busy doing my order but am confused do a go for a bigger s8+ or normal s8 as the normal s8 has a bigger screen then s7edge...I carry two phones with me one is my SA number and one my UK number so should I go for s8 or the s8+ I don't need a bigger screen then the s7edge but I need a battery I am a battery killer lol.

Only since IPhone 6 has Apple made the most changes on the IPhone. There is only incremental differences between the 6S and 7. Samsung on the other hand has made huge steps from S6 to S7 and S7 edge and now another huge step to S8 and S8 +. In terms of features and technology I think Samsung phones are now heaps ahead of Apple. Even the Huawei phones are catching up to the IPhone with even better resolution front camera.

Damn i want one but ive been on the iphone since day 1.
I wonder how complex it will be to shift everything to android?
Then again i don't want to be sorry when the iphone 8 is out, but looking at the latest iphones they will probably disappoint.
ahh 1st world problems!
