Hot! Shocking Footage of Air Crash

This happened yesterday at Bagram air base, Afghanistan. A Boeing 747-400 freighter became uncontrollable immediately after take off. Early theories centre on the load shifting on rotation or a microburst. Either way, it's an almost unrivalled demonstration of what happens when an aircraft stalls, the moment of which can be seen when the right wing drops.

As sad as it is for the seven crew on board, they wouldn't have known much about it.

Wow..that is one hell of a video..it almost seems fake.

There must have been a load shift, or jammed controls, but that's not a normal thing on the 747.
It went into a flat spin almost, but there was to little altitude to correct it..
This is one of the worst things that can happen right after start, this together with a total engine failure on all engines at low altitude.
Its always a stress moment for me from T/O up to safe alt ( cruise )

I was real close to joining the Air traffic controller education, but i went ahead with the dream.

It was only going to Dubai so assuming it just had the required fuel load (plus minimum legal requirements for holding etc) then it would have had a relatively low amount of fuel on board. Apparently it was carrying at least 5 large armoured vehicles each weighing up to 12 tonnes. Just one of these coming loose could cause a violent loss of control, and create a situation which was irrecoverable for the pilots.

Also, it's not uncommon for pilots to fly a rather "spirited" departure in war zones in order to minimise the risk of shoulder launched missiles. This is relatively uncommon for the Boeing 747-400 but it's not beyond the realms of possibility that this could have been a contributing factor, albeit with no hard evidence.

Simply un-real. Had to watch it a few times. Strange how quiet the guy was in the car... I don't think I would have been as silent witnessing that unfold in front of me...
