Genesis G90 [Spy Shots] 2022 Genesis G90 Spied

The Genesis G90 is a full-size car manufactured since 2015 by Genesis, the luxury division of Hyundai Motor Company. It is the flagship model of the Genesis lineup. A four-door sedan, the G90 is the successor of the Hyundai Equus and was known as the Genesis EQ900 in South Korea from 2015 to 2019.

The next-gen G90 was confirmed to be equipped with a ‘level 3’ autonomous driving system consisting of a camera, radar and two lidar sensors. It will also feature air suspension for the first time.

As for powertrains, this G90 looks to be powered by a conventional gasoline engine. We expect the current 3.3-liter twin-turbo V6 and 5.0-liter V8 options will be replaced by the new 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6, which produces 375 horsepower in the G80 sedan and GV80 SUV.
As evidenced by trademark filings, the G90 could also spawn an all-electric variant called the G90e. Expect to see an official reveal at the end of 2021 or the beginning of 2022.

Wow those proportions are the shit. Wow. Looks like a mob cartoon villain car. That’s a good thing btw. Then need more than a V6 for this market tho.

This is actually quite exciting. Ace proportions. And a super efficient G90e with Tesla Model S-like performance and range...that would be grand. Hyundai/KIA/Genesis appear to be on the threshold of an impressive roll.

It looks more than interesting, as something to take into account to give a blow of effect

This is a very flattering example of the more traditional 3-Box luxury sedan architectural paradigm. Bonnet/Decklid lengths spot on. An attractive, athletic upper 1/3-lower 2/3 body silhouette with nicely integrated wheel arches.

Considering most recent Hyundai/KIA/Genesis BEV offerings (most noteably the Ioniq 5), a G90e could be just the vehicle for those averse to more visually "adventurous" competitors such as the M-B EQS yet insist on cutting-edge, sustainable BEV powertrains.

This may shape-up to be quite a car indeed.
