While hunting on Mercedes car prototypes we also caught a camouflaged Mercedes truck. It´s the successor of the Mercedes-Benz Actros which we´ve spied onze before. What we know about the new truck is the fact Mercedes will introduce a much more bold design. If we have to believe some insiders the truck will have a progressive design-DNA. The car will debut in 2011.

Am I wrong or he will have LED lights?

Don't understand why Euro likes this top heavy, flat faced trucks. Looks absolutely inneficient and retarded.

In the US we like things big... SUVs trucks...
In Europe the need things small... micro cars
When space is limited you need to sit on the engine.

They are going to show some American trucks at the upcoming motor show for commercial vehicles
in Hannover (IAA 2010), so truckers there have something to dream about. :D

Actually, it's all about efficiency. The maximum lenght of a semi in most European countries is 16.5 meters (~54 ft), from bumper to bumper. Why waste precious cargo capacity to accommodate the engine?

Looks very modern:usa7uh:

Whether your interested in trucks or not - FACT is, that these big haulers has absolutely astonishing technology. Hindsight is that no automobile in production has the tech of these trucks;)
