This smells trouble for BBC's Top Gear. It's clear that Amazon are have putting as much or even more money behind Clarkson & co as BBC did. However Jeff Bezos is no layman, he is probably expecting the show to give a return high as 3-5x.

If it's good shoppers who shop at Amazon anyways, will just go ahead and sign for Prime to see this. My issue is that I can't stream Amazon Prime through my Chromecast which is very annoying.

When I first heard the name "grand tour" I thought it was underwhelming at first. Their idea to tour the world with live audiences is a brilliant idea. This will only help the Grand Tour grow its global audience and create more hype for the show on a global scale.

Bah. No tickets for me. They're filming today in Finnish Lapland, approximately 500 km north from where I live.
