Not at all. I Love BMW but ultimately owned Mercedes Benz or Audi's.

The E36 M3, + that engine, is one of the greats!

Saw this. It is interesting! I like, what Audi did with the Competition version! It is really adding substance opposed to just marketing blabla! I'm very convinced, that the performance level brought by the G8x forced them to do so.
Further remarks: I don't like the track format/layout used by Auto Express. It is almost Auto Cross like. At the more typical race tracks - e.g. in use by german test publications - like Hockenheimring, Nordschleife, Sachsenring, the RS5 Competition is beaten by the G81 - even with this tyre advantage.
But why is the G81 so much heavier? This BMW should really investigate! I mean: The RS5 is not an ASF (Audi space frame) aluminium based vehicle and the drivetrain and layout are very comparable!

A 26sec difference cant just be due to some suspension and spoiler aero changes. There must be a hefty power increase as well. Could this be the long rumoured 1000PS Taycan?

It makes sense. It's acceleration must be phenomenal. IS phenomenon obviously!

I would like to see the actual lap. This is faster than GT4RS on Cup 2 Rs and only 8s behind GT3 on Cup 2 Rs. 17s faster than Tesla Plaid on Supercar 3Rs as well. Are they still using P Zero Corsas? If yes, then the time seems a bit too good, to be honest.

I saw 250 kmh before Flugplatz that is damn fast and yes 1000 hp like.

In the latest AutoZeitung the 992 GT3 RS managed a laptime of 1:29,9 min around Nürburgring GP, only a tenth behind the 488 Pista.
0-100 kph in 3,2 s, 0-200 kph in 10,3 s, 200-0 kph in 95,5 metres!

488 Pista doesn't get mentioned much. I, individually highly rate the F8.
