A reasonable upgrade for the GT4RS MR - 1.4s ahead of the regular GT4RS.

A good time for the Taycan as well (only 0.5s behind the 992 GT3), but quite far away from the Senna equaling Laguna Seca lap time - proving once again that you can't compare a factory lap to an independent one. And still it's the dumb 2 seat version, too, which I will never stop mentioning because of how dumb it is.

Wow check the Taycan GT acceleration figures!!!

Its faster to 200km/h (6.4sec vs 6.6sec) than the Ferrari SF90 XX Stradale just tested recently!!! Holy Crap!!

@Soup
Weird - 750s slower around Anglesey than its predecessor? Although having a tire, power, chassis advantage? Bad environmental conditions during test?

Bad environmental conditions during test?
Weird for Autocar to provide air temp and conditions for the acceleration tests (750S used Corsa tire during those), but omit that information from the track notes.
Hopefully they're gonna put out a youtube video from Anglesey, so we'll know more then.

The combo of bigger power and shorter gearing makes the car more nervous in tight corners, it's in the article. :)

I read it, but I still have hard time accepting it's that "undrivable" to the point of being slower on the grippier tire. What would the difference be with Corsa? That'd be properly embarrassing for McLaren.

Maybe what is happening is the same as with the 765LT, this car has been kust marginally faster and some times slower in tested lap times than the 720S. And this despite having more power, less weight, grippier tyres, and better aero. As far as I have understood the reason is that 765LT is more nervous and therefore it is more difficult to extract all the abilities out of the car. Maybe this is also the problem with the 750S?

I am not really buying any of that. I am sure that if you put the 720S (on Corsas) and 750S (on Trofeo Rs) on track on the same day with the same driver, the 750S would have been faster. But, it's notable that if it was on the same tire, it wouldn't probably be that much faster.
