  • 18 m slalom (ESP OFF): 71,4 km/h
  • Braking 100-0 km/h (cold/warm): 31,9/33,3 m
  • Braking 200-0 km/h (warm): 129,4 m
  • Anneau du Rhin (3,0 km): 1:17,0 min
Those times seem slow compared to other mag tests.
 
Now it’s clear why the 0-100km/h time is so bad. The 2. should go up to 64mph instead of 61.
I think the combination of the traction issues and also the low gearing gives it a disadvantage for quick acceleration in the lower speed ranges up to about 100mph it is not that fast for 835PS. But after about 180km/h then it really starts picking up speed at a rapid pace. 13.6sec to 150mph is pretty good.
 
They could use the 4matic drivetrain instead.
That would be a good bet and really make a difference to the driving experience if they used the 4matic+ drivetrain straight from the previous E63 S/GT 63S 4-dr which allows some pretty amazing drift angles from the rear axle and glorious tail slides.
 
TBH the 8Speed ZF is a gorgeous Transmission, but the MCT has much more character.

9G-MCT with 4matic+ from the E63S/GT63S would be the perfect choice.

Mercedes Benz could on the other hand could use the AM V12.
