Only. Because 2,7 s would be a fantastic world-best record time and 3,1 s is only an average 2013-top 5 time. Huge difference.Only 3.1 in the real world.

And what does 0-100 kph times has to do with price? And how much do those other cars in the top 5 cost?

...is not a relevant question in this thread IMO.What car offers fastest 0-100 kph time for lowest price.

Indeed. And so the GT-R's acceleration time is irrelevant, it was only as an example to show different acceleration measuring methods.
Because 2,7 s would be a fantastic world-best record time...
Their claimed figures are 2,4 and 2,5 sec. The best "real" 0-100 kph time is 2,7 s for the SS (AMuS) and 2,84 s for the Veyron (Autocar/AutoBild Sportscars). Without rollout none of the US-magazine numbers are better than these figures... what a surprise.Didn't the Veyron or the Veyron SS ever do better than 2,7s? I remember the their 0-100 times were claimed to be 2,5s. 2,45s even.
Thanks!Very useful data DeDe!But I wonder why Quattroruote times (sometimes) are so fast either?? Maybe they use Roll-Out Tricks like Americans!!
No, different testcars/conditions. Thrust mode is thrust mode, no matter if the driver is European or not.It is interesting that Autobild Sportscars achieved 10.7 s for Aventador in Quarter Mile (Without Roll-Out) but Car and Driver Achieved 10.9 s (Even with Roll-Out)
Are Germans more Professional?!!
