You just built a new home and you have 10 garage spaces only, and for a bonus you have a covered "carport" that will hold two additional cars. What are those cars?

All garage queens, to be honest. I'll just stare at and rarely drive them:

1) Alfa TZ2 - most beautiful car ever, IMHO. Art
2) Lambo Countach LP400 - the original one, a game changer. Art
3) BMW M1 - Giugiaro's architectural masterpiece. Art
4) Maserati Ghibli 1967- Another Giugiaro's masterpiece, but this one is curvy and sleek. Porn
5) Citröen DS19 - so ahead of the game, 65 years later still no one gets it. Vive la France. Art
6) Mercedes 300 SL - icon falls short to describe it. Art
7) Cord 812 convertible - American beauty. Art
8) Any aircooled 911, but I like 930 most. Art and porn. And engineering, and, perfectionism, and discipline and....
9) Ferrari F40 - my childhood. Italian porn
10) Pagani Zonda F - Massive NA V12, manual box and no trying-too-hard styling like on later Paganis

Bonus: Ferrari F355 - just to annoy damm @hoffmeister_fan

I'm missing a british car  , KiwiRob wouldn't like to be my friend

Carport:
Honda E or Fiat newest 500e: perfect city car. Electric, small, beautiful and effortlessly cool.
Maserati Gran Turismo. This or an Aston DB9. I just like the italian stallion a tiny bit more. Impossibly pretty, great sounding and the perfect playboy car.

On the sidewalk: french hot hatch or scooby. Something fun and cheap to thrash on mountains roads.

I was debating between that and the Hyundai/Kia twins. The e is the first electric car that I really like as there finally seems to be some sense of personality and identity for a BEV where, up to that point, BEV's have screamed (well, more whirred) "appliance. But for the purported range you get for the price just makes it too difficult. So for a BEV that would be for a) daily use, b) gets decent range, c) decent charging time and d) not necessarily a white-knuckling speed demon, the Koreans seeming fit that bill. Plus I really like the Ioniq 5's exterior and the EV6's interior.

Now if Honda can replicate the a BEV that had the Honda e Concept's styling, is a little bit larger with much better range, quick charging time (i.e. 80% charge in 10 minutes or less), didn't use rare-earth metals, etc., I think Honda would have a winner on their hands.

All that said, while I've changed from not being terribly keen about BEV's to a bit more agnostic about it, I still have concerns about the procurement of resources related to producing batteries and other components, i.e. the environmental and socioeconomic effects of mass-mining for lithium and other metals.

Probably this post is more appropriate for the BEV thread, but I didn't expect to ramble on either, so here we are.

Don't laugh at me, but I want one of these now. I had never seen (or paid attention if I did see one) one in person until recently. I just love this arrogant relic:

To be exact, it's a Corniche IV, built from 1992-1996. It's hard to believe that when advanced cars like the Mercedes R129 SL, Lexus LS, BMW V12 750iL, were on sale, Rolls was still selling this throwback. I just love it now.

There's something pleasantly funky yet very cool about these mid-1950s' Jag MK I saloons.:

Lexus LFA... for all I'd care, it could be be in Pepto-Bismol pink and I'd still love it.
Porsche 992 GT3
Porsche 991.2 GT3 Touring
Ferrari 599GTO, preferably in Vinaccia.
Aston Martin Vanquish Volante (Mark 2?? Don't know how it's distinguished from the late 90's/early 00's Vanquish, but the recent one that replaced the mid aughts DBS)
Corvette C8 Z06... per rumors, it's delayed to 2023, and, sight-unseen, I'm betting this will be something special.
BMW E9 3.0CS
Alfaholics GTA-R...either 290 or 300
Mercedes-Benz 500E W124
BMW E46 M3 CSL
Either the new Ford Bronco Wildtrak 5-door or M-B G350d
Acura NSX Gen 1
Either a Gen 1 or 2 WRX STI

Kia EV6....unless the upcoming Honda Prologue, built on Ford's EV bits, exceeds it. Or for that matter if anything else in the electric realm exceeds it. At this point, while there are emerging "personalities," BEVs are fairly interchangeable in my preference as long as it delivers decent range, space, and pace. The VW Buzz.ID seems like an intriguing prospect.

GMA T.50.... was debating whether full-on unobtainium cars ought to be included, but it's a special thing created by a special guy. If there's a kernel of truth in the mythos of its creation where it's guided by a singular vision with minimal compromise (and I don't have many doubts that's not the case), there will never be a car like this again.

A reminder of how beautiful so many young European women were back then. Before fast food, couch potatoing, stretch fabric street attire and neon-coloured hair.

I must add the Ferrari 296 GTB to my "dream list".

The same would apply to the Audi eTron GT. Now that I've been seeing them a bit more frequently in city traffic, I've come to realize what an absolutely beautiful automobile it is.

Pretty much what I have now with the addition of an F12 TDF, 488 Pista, and if I really had unlimited funds a Jesko. So mad at myself for not grabbing an F12 TDF when the prices dipped into the low $700's. Now they're too much.

Giving some thought to trading my 765LT and 992 TTS on a Ferrari SF90 Spider. I’d be curious to hear people’s opinions.

Keep the 992 Turbo S. I have a hunch that you may soon regret having traded it in.

M
The Z06, I think, has me the most piqued of all the debuts next week (and quite possibly this year) and may be deemed worthy of my fantasy garage. The SL with an inline-6 possibly as well may be on par with replacing the spot currently occupied by the recently discontinued S cabriolet. ;)
