5 Series (F10/F11/F07/F18) UPDATED: BMW F10 5 series with M package official

The BMW F10/F11/F07/F18 is the sixth generation of the BMW 5 Series, manufactured for model years 2010–2017. The body styles of the range are: 4-door sedan/saloon (F10), 5-door estate/wagon (F11, marketed as "Touring"), 5-door fastback (F07, marketed as "Gran Turismo"), and 4-door long wheelbase sedan (F18, sold only in China and the Middle East).
Guess this pack doesn't look good in white. The rear diffuser is stupid, i don't think a car like this needs such a big fat piece of black plastic down there... probably looks better if that part stays in body colour. And what are those reflectors doing so high up? it screws the car's smooth lines up imo. The front i think is a bit overdone, i would've preferred smoother and i definitely would HATE to see M cars or M packs getting more angular, which would make it increasingly similar to MBs, which look like transformers. I still think the best M packs were the E46 and E39, those were subtle yet elegant and sporty and they perfectly fitted the car's lines.

5-Series is hands down the hottest car in the segment right now. Then the XF. After that I'm not sure where the E and A6 land.

M

Well, E-class *can* look a bit awkward in certain packages with certain rims, but to me a nicely specced E with AMG pack, visible exhausts and nice rims looks almost equally hot as the F10. But definitely much better than any of the competition, including A6 and XF.

Yeah true, the E needs at least 17 or even 18 to look nice and even gorgeous with AMG pack,i've yet to see a M packed F10 but i just don't like the detailing of the front bumper and disapprove that big black plastic on the rear bumper, why can't them just give it a bumper similar in design to M5's? not identical but just like how MB does does with E63 and other AMG packed Es.

I agree about the transformers/angular thing, being that hopefully BMW stays away with the M-Pack. However, it looks like the front F10 M-Pack bumper is more transformer/darth-vader-y than anything M-B has out, which makes it look awkward and unfitting on the otherwise smooth and rounded F10.

Hmnmmm...did you see the CLS AMG pack???

^^ I'll check it out again. Just struck me as similar to the W212 or newer M-B AMG pack. Maybe the angular lines on the F10 M-Pack just appear more angular to me since they contrast the more smooth lines on the car.

Depends on how you put it, i think those MB bulges and really angular/triangular stuff are still more transformer inspired than this. the F10 M pack isn't all that angular when looked at closely, but the overall idea is not smooth, and i just hope it won't get any worse.

Some people here complain that the new 5er looks a little to generic and plain. Voila! this M-package changes this. So if you don't want a "plain" car, get the M-package :usa7uh:

The new 5er is such a huge improvemant over the previous version. BMW played it safe this time around. I`m a fan.. I also like the new sport package, looks great!

This car has absolutely no rival in the look department, at least on its segment.

I must admit. I saw the M Sport package on an F10 at Paris earlier this month. It was a white car and I was very underwhelmed. Even the 19" wheels looked too small. However, earlier this week I saw a Carbon Black 535d M Sport with 19" wheels at my dealers and it looked very nice indeed. The colour clearly made a difference, maybe because a dark colour makes the car look smaller thus making the wheels appear big enough.
