Imho the front and interior are nice, minimal, elegant and sharp.

The overall shape is weird, like a short 7 series, and the rear is quite messy. The light arrangements are creative but otherwise its far from the elegance of the S90.

Would be good to see a review with a person, for dimensions refernece

Being an EV, the design doesn't come as a surprise to me. The line-up of past Volvo saloons in the video in post #20 (29 min. 37 sec) only emphasizes the sheer absence of character of this ES90.
It seems to be a very safe car to drive in, though.

Chris presenting the car in a flattering light. The ES90 is looking pretty good in this video.

Not terrible, and while I know it has different design directives since it's a BEV, I don't admire it nearly enough as I do Volvo's outgoing ICE model line's design language. That said, it may be a tall order to surpass those cars since, IMO, their design was nigh on perfect.

I love that Volvo moved the door handle from the door card to the arm rest. Looks elegant.

The shape is a bit weird. Looks like a crossover, not like a sedan. The interior is nice, though!
I wish it had traditional and lower slunch proportions but I'm ok with it. I guess they learned that using polestar 2 proportions either provides lots of space for batteries or that consumers like the slightly raised ride height.

Overall it's a brilliant anti-SUV. Classic volvo design cue with a bit of spice with the rear tail lights. Nothing is overdone. I like it.
