Compact Luxury car like the BMW 2 series or the Audi A3. Similar to the Civic or Corolla in size but more luxurious (depends on what your definition of luxury is I suppose).

I have had 4 Audi's and MB guys always act as if they are less. Funny how in Germany MB is thought of as a Taxi cab and not a proper car to own). Personally, I buy the car I like as you did so good for you. It's a great car and as stated above, you have jealous friends. I am sure if you bought a new 2.5 mil dollar Bugatti Chiron that your friends would say its just a Subaru since Subaru owns Bugatti. BTW, I like Subarus more than Hondas and Toyotas.

What Im saying is you buy a nice car and there will always be somebody to say something negative. The comment about MB in Germany is from Germans who have moved to the US that applauded me for choosing Audi instead of mb. I think both are great cars personally!

Utter tripe. For example, the A250 SPORT outclasses any similar sized car on the market. And please don't anyone say but what about an Audi? Spartan, boring looking jacked up priced VW, no personality, no flair, and arguable finish (contrary to all the motoring journalist opinions). The A250 on the other hand demonstrates true MB values. It exudes confidence, poise, style and understated but obvious class, along with plenty of references to its impeckable breeding. It is every bit a Benz, so just have a little chuckle, a pointed look and a little nod at those that may argue otherwise. They'll get the message. As for any S Class owners, I suspect it would only be in the still overly old class-consciuos UK that this would be the case.

Listen, I don't care about Audi either, but the A3 range is absolutely top notch. Good drive, highest quality interior, clean design, all the tech.

We can only hope the next A klasse is on the same level of craftmanship.
