Does it use any aluminium panels, components? I would imagine the old school, possibly cast iron block engine weights a bit too. That or the cars are packed with solid gold bricks in the boot.

It's a reworked engine with lighter pistons and crank shaft but yeah, the block itself is still vintage. It's almost as if it's made from tungsten or something. BMW are working on a new Phantom and that one is likely to use a very light construction using CFRP in some areas. The Mulsanne is likely to be very shamed by it.

The Rolls rides better, is less floaty, the engine is better, rear seats/enviroment is slightly better and overall everything is better in the RR (according to this dude in the vid).......yet in the end, the S suddenly is the best car in the world? WTF?? He didn't even take cost into consideration, which is the one and only possible way the S could win this test.

Wow, I am surprised even S500L is leading in comparison, so need not to say S63, S65 or S600L is the King of automobile. I believe S600L would be more relevant in terms of performance comparison. But lately MB is just too good with every products introduction, MB has raise the bar too high with the introduction of W222?

IMO, all the the cars in comparison have its unique way to be the most luxury car in the world, just that MB out performance in every single way. In terms of quality, value, design and etc.

Unbalanced "test" in many respects even weight. Nevertheless the Phantom is a standalone and so is the RR. The Brits still has the upper hand in shear...everything. The W222, well it deserves being respected and admired. Comes back to the balance, what joke of a test! LMAO.

Well klier, it was not that much of a victory for the Rolls. (ride for example is smoother but suffers from body wallow.) rear seat comfort and environments for both the S and Rolls were about equal to him, both ahead of the Bentley according to this tester. The engine of the S is nearly as smooth or good. (This is the V8 vs. V12s)
The real reason the S won is because it`s playing with a fuller deck of cards. The tester said it "does everything better." He said it`s like having two cars in one and makes the other cars feel ordinary.

As I watched the video,I noticed that the S class has almost no EXTRA OPTION(in mather OF DRIVING EXPERIENCE)...

I mean, no DISTRONIC, no MAGIC BODY CONTROL , no Driver's Package , it does NOT say anything about the REAR massage function, and more...

Well,isn't THIS WHAT MAKES A CAR THE BEST IN THE WORLD? The best driving experience,NOT JUST THE "perfect combination between leather,wood and chrome" ?


And another thing...It says that the Bentley is the only one with 4WD...S500 has it too...
Rolls and Bentley are more powerfull....S63 is EVEN MORE power than both,and 4WD

So,if the S class had all these,I bet that it would had NO DOUBT AT ALL , THAT IT IS THE BEST CAR IN THE WORLD !
