No matter what’s under the hood, BMWs are fun to drive. I love driving my 118i. It might not be super fast, but that combination of direct steering feedback, 50:50 weight balance and RWD are hard to beat and put a smile on your face.

Why didn't you wait for the new 3er?

Because the last production slots of the F30 came with some very good deals which you wouldn't get on the G20 straight away. Also, it's replacing my Polo, and the lease on that ends in a few weeks. I can see me getting the G20 at some point in the future though.

Because I'm British and have a flat just outside London, so I spend a lot of time there.
