According to the same dataset (2024 edition) used for your chart, this his how it breaks down in more detail. I would draw your attention to the significant difference in dwelling stock once you take into account if the property is detached or not... the Netherlands has the lowest number of detached houses with the exception of Malta, Norway is the 6th highest.
I think it is reasonabe to say houses are really different in the Netherlands, when compared to Norway.

On mine you can. The front panel pops up and slides over the rear panel, there is also an interior blind.

After all, sales of battery cars topped 1.2 million last year, more than five times the number just four years earlier. Hybrid sales have jumped by a factor of three.

It was my grocery getter , as such it worked really well.
I don’t know If I am going to buy another EV as a successor for now.
Or If I should wait until something interesting arrives.
I really like the new GLC, but I want a sunroof.

The image associated with G class aside and if you have no use of its off road capabilities, it is far from being the best.
It’s not the fastest nor the comfiest or the most luxurious or most spacious SUV, but it feels special.Here in Europe the image is not that good TBH, Soccer player or dubious businessman comes to mind.
I’ve got mine despite the strange image. BTW I don’t want to be associated with these people.
After the testdrive I came to the conclusion, that I don’t want to care what people say.

There are Mercedes fans that would have an absolute coronary if you tried to hand wave away a perception of superiority of the 7-series, XM, 8-series or X7 as simply "special"... I guess for the decrepit old tin shit shed that is the G-Class, it's okay...
The X7 is objectively way superior to the G ( I haven’t driven the XM, I heard it’s also a crazy animal).
I’ve driven both(X7 and G), especially the pre LCI X7 had a gorgeous interior.
I almost bought a M50d instead of my e-tron, the B57 with 4 Turbos is pure madness.
Back to the G.
The driving experience combined with the seating position of a truck, makes the experience really special.
In my case there’s this M177 lump which vibrates and rumbles all the time.
There’s no smoothness, but that’s part of the charm.
It’s the biggest opposite to an EV you can find on the market.

That is the image associated with it. Not that, that is bad. But there is nothing materially special about it. There are other SUvs with body on frame.
The biggest opposite of an EV would be a Miata or a similar lightweight manual car. Not a 2.5 ton SUV and an automatic.
There are, but with a boxy design, side pipes, and a luxurious interior there are non as far as I know.
In the SUV Class I mean( I didn’t formulated it precisely enough).but generally a Morgan is even more different, I agree.
Because I’ve chosen it as a successor.

BTW The G580EQ is currently the only G available with a discount in Europe.
And in Norway the G63 costs the double of the G580EQ because of taxes.
