I don’t think it will be in the guise of a G-Klasse. And it’s iconic military tank for the streets?
Probably more subtle. A Less coupe appearance of say an XM. Upright and tall like a Cullinan? The Positioning is interesting. Already an X7? X9?
 
The G already has competition, I don't think there is enough space in this market segment for BMW to bring the fight to the G and the Defender.

The Octa is to expensive compared to the G, the interior is way cheaper.

I had 3 cars on the shortlist, G,Wrangler 392 and Defender V8 or Octa.
I took the G.

And TBH it’s currently the car I drive the most.

At this point G focuses more on luxury rather than its original purpose. Especially with the current generation it got even luxurious. More of a statement piece now, rather than a capable off-road SUV. Defender on the other hand still has that off-road thing going on for it. Especially with its different exterior packs and 3 different body types. I also think it’s not as luxurious as the G on the inside. It’s much more raw and purposeful.
When it comes to the exterior though, I might actually say that I prefer the Defender over G. It’s such a great looking thing. Especially the 90.

I think Top Gear did a test of the G450d vs the Grenadier, and the Toyota Land Cruiser, and it was easily able to handle the entire treck without a single issue.

Never said it wasn’t capable of off-roading. What I meant was it focuses more on luxury now. The previous generations had rougher interior and the ride quality was really bad. Now it does everything so much better. Unfortunately no one takes them to off-roading. It’s just a daily show off SUV for rappers and rich moms 🤣.

I kept looking at that C-Class spy shot for like 10 minutes to understand what it was. The wheels gave it away cause AI usually messes them up. Other than that it was so real looking.

Its terrible how nowadays people are creating fake images of cars or people etc. for only clickbait and to only get people to like their fake posts.

You had me there, that image and the C-wagon looked so real, its f&cking scary what these apps now can do.

I was quite surprised with C Wagon too, as I understood the S214 and the CLA SB were going to be the last wagons by MB.

Still can’t get the point of creating AI images of test mules.
