So the RR is unreliable? Does it often break? I mean, the spare parts are really expencive here...

RR's are notoriously unreliable, however, Audi's also have their reliability problems, especially as they get older and more high performance/high end.

Reliability wise, I'd say the two should be relatively comparable, with Audi having an advantage as the more quality built car.

For what it's worth, I know a couple of people with RR superchargeds that have proved quite unreliable - Apparently, the Supercharged is the worst of the bunch. Not saying an S8 would be inexpensive to run or maintain... ;)

Depending on your needs - that's the question. If it's a versatile spacious vehicle with all the mods, tech, style, street cred, power and luxury in abundance - then Tumbo mate it's RR;)
The Land Rover brand and it's ultra-premium Range Rovers in addition has become such a stylish and unique niche, going forward and with a new arsenal of future models beginning with the Evoque, the brand is on a roll.

The perceived quality on all models (except for the Defender) rival and better ALL the German offerings (new Cayenne included) hell, just go and feel the plush, soft and textured high quality trimmings in the LR Disco 4, now that makes the debate around 'greener'/harder plastics that has to be used because of legislation a laughing lie from German OEM's hahahaha, jokes on them! OR LR/RR gives a f!ck:D

If my finances allows the X1 and all its KIA plastics will be replaced by an Evoque soon!
:t-cheers:

Hehe, is that so? But seriously? S8 is I think more "in your face" than the RR?

Anyways, I sure want to go for the S8 of pretty much all reasons.
BUT, if I want to go offroad, drive in the sanddunes, and at the same time have a performance car.. Then we have a problem... And Q7 4.2 is waaay to expencive :(

Get an FG cruiser for that, you can find one for around 12K euro.

S8 is magnificent! It's probably the best performance limousine engine wise right after the e60 M5 and the sound is unbelievable :)
Or you can just buy the RR and regret :D :t-cheers:
