It looks very stylish, but somehow I still prefer the Roma front end with the bigger headlights.

Can we have the California and Portofino back?

Never liked the Roma and I don't like this Amalfi either, the smooth body doesn't work with how tall the beltline is IMO. Just looks tall and bloated

I was not a big fan of the old Roma's cheese grater grill treatment. But I am not sure I like new Prius front end either. The best part of the Roma is the ass though. Glad they left that untouched.

Ferrari is making all kinds of fugly shit these days.
The interior in particular is absolutely ghastly. I guess good to see physical buttons back, but it still looks like a clusterf#ck on the steering wheel.

I don’t know about you guys, it just seems the shape of the car is the issue that facelift can’t fix. In the flesh, it looks like a F-Type and doesn’t exude the “emotion” of a Ferrari GT. It looks fairly ordinary and doesn’t have much road presence.

Not that the California/Portofino we’re lookers by any means at all, but they could’ve done more with the clean sheet design of the Roma.

As controversial as the 612 was back in the day for being a design low point, it was unmistakably a Ferrari on the road, even from a distance.

Agree. Thats because of the 🥿 looking profile with no visual classic trunk space. Like its rear is cut or smth. Same goes to the 812, 12 dickindri etc.

Now compare it to the 599, 575, 612…. They all had beautiful proportions with trunk.

I'm with you on it.

The smooth curves doesn't work with how tall the Roma/Amalfi looks to me personally.

That type of body surfacing works on something low-slung and exotic like the 12cilindri, but not this.

California and Portofino are very easily recognizable as Ferraris, especially with their very low front ends and muscled rear fenders... To an extent the Roma/Amalfi has these design cues but it's too tall and rounded for it to work well.

It felt like it was missing one important piece

Having a 12Cilindri-like black panel does work well here, but then what make the 12Cilindri stand out?

I am curious to see what the Roma's cheese grater grille in combination with Amalfi's headlights look like.
I actually thought the Roma's headlights looked a bit awkward, but the grille took some of the attention of the headlights. Oddly enough, I've grown to like the cheese grater, but perhaps because it does subconsciously make me think of a nice chunk of Parmigiano-Regianno cheese.

I love the Amalfi's design inside and out. Although it is clearly a facelifted Roma. Still...it recalls some glorious front engined Ferraris of yore. Those going waaay back, when I, as a teen and young adult, was a genuine fan of the brand. It's been so long.

Common sense has prevailed. The cabin and the one in the 12C now have physical buttons on the wheel instead of capacitive ones. There is now also a centre screen.

It might look unimaginative but is highly practical. Recent Ferrari interiors have been a dog’s breakfast. “bUt rIch pEOple DoNt cAre Bout uSaBilITy.” Trust me.

Novelty of engine noise and exterior design wears off. Behind the wheel you will still want to play music, use CarPlay/android auto, navigate to places or take phone calls. When these common actions take 3 seconds in a Fiat Panda but 30sec in a Ferrari, you have a problem. Speak stupidity in the Ferrari Purosange. Stunning design, emotive engine but the infotainment is such a pain in the but that many videos on YouTube include owners saying that the car annoys them or that they prefer the Urus.

It’s great to see physical buttons returning not only in Ferraris but also at other car manufacturers.

This was my first thought. The front end looks too tall and SUV ish. I will not be surprised if some owners PPF a moustache on to the car. Easy and cheap job.

Can see that, problem is - more people are still alive who will see a fricken Toyota in this car instead of some retro cues. Just a low effort facelift…., havent seen anything exciting from Ferrari in quite a while.
