Hot! Ferrari: What's Next?

Ferrari might be one of the few brands that can take the "appliance" out of the EV.
I can`t wait to see how they pull this off.

Well, seems like an electric drop:

its actually because Ferrari has stated they expect their growth to slow. Meaning still growing but not at the same pace (to be expected they’ve been growing at too high a pace to keep up).

The second reason was due to them lowering their targets from 40% electric to 20% of the model range. So if anything its the opposite.

A new Ferrari One-Off makes its debut: meet the bespoke Ferrari SC40. Named to pay tribute to the Ferrari F40, this new model from the Special Projects programme has been crafted exclusively for the client with a mid-rear-engined V6 that takes its architecture, chassis, and powertrain from the Ferrari296GTB. It fuses sharp, industrial geometry with sculptural surfaces and details. Every element, including the SC40 script engraved in relief on the rear wing, is a subtle yet powerful mark of its identity. Meanwhile, the custom SC40 White exterior colour, developed specifically for this car, features a cool hue that accentuates the body’s curves in sunlight, recalling the colour of the carbon-Kevlar used for its interior. A signature shade for a car that exists nowhere else.

Tribute to the F40 is.. a mid engine V6?

If only they had a mid-engine V8 supercar in production they could have used as the basis for this project............

At the end of the day, both Ferrari and the client were aware of this, and went ahead with this anyway - if any of us are every in the position to commission a bespoke car, it would be interesting to hear about the compromises we'd make, or not.

Yeah, definitely a very very questionable commission. Does not feel like a true tribute to the F40 PERSONALLY but ofc clearly the owner of it and Ferrari do.

Another Ferrari that initially makes you gag and puke, then you take a moment to breathe and come back to it. Then it doesn’t look so bad. What is happening? The overhangs are still too long tho.

Ferrwei are very kind to let these one offs take inspiration from people's child hood heroes. For some people it's an awesome restomod/tribute car. Old stylish with modern internals.

I have turned it black. Looks damn good.
