S-Class (W223) Mercedes-Benz S-Class (W223) Facelift 2024

The Mercedes-Benz W223 is the seventh generation of the S‑Class full-size luxury sedan, produced by Mercedes-Benz since 2020. It replaces the W222 S‑Class which had been produced since 2013.
AI slop ... it even has the Quattro badge of the Audi it is based on. Look at those dials
🙈
We will look back on these types of interiors with fondness as we do on antique furniture. With all the switches and dials consigned more or less to history. It will be interesting to see in the future who does retro.

I don’t think the facelift is going to look anything like this.. just sharing what I just came across

exactly, the facelift will be 100% different, with 3 stars in the rear lights, these are hypotheses for the new 2030 s-class, hoping it doesn't have hyperscreen seen on the GLC/EV

That S-class render is shockingly bad. Amateurish.

Dear members, please try and be more discerning and analytical before posting random AI-generated imaginings.

Ask yourself some questions before deciding to post an image you've happened upon:
  • does this have any relevance to an existing or forthcoming model beyond what an anonymous source has dreamed up
  • is this AI-generated and if so, to what extent has AI been employed to render the image: is it based off spy shot images of a real prototype or is it entirely fictitious
  • does the image warrant discussion in the thread in question
Please try and exercise some discretion before loading threads with meaningless images - it's practically spamming.

Ofcorse there is & that too which is very similar one, but difference is that it is in another thread.. 😁😁😁.

I dont find it wrong as long as it close to something showcased as Vision, which means we can explore the potential design with the creative freedom

To be clear, I am most certainly not a socalled "tree hugger" and I most certainly cannot subscribe to some of the, at times haughty self-perceived morally elevated, mantra-like presentation of solely ideologically anchored dogma. That having been said:

I find much of the contents of this video a compelling testimony in support of electric drivetrains. And I find a good deal of the backtracking by some German manufacturers back towards ICE vehicles myopic. The allure of short term profit may very well really bite them in the ass in the longrun. Personally, I have little empathy for them should this scenario transpire. Shortsighted greedy cash grabbing that can prove selfdestructing in the end is self-inflicted. Chinese manufacturers must be guffawing at what chumps these Germans, manufacturers and politicans alike, are. They have made utter fools of us German more than once (solar energy, robotics and now automobiles).

This video highlights the major problem with Ola Ice Cream's poor leadership of Mercedes, the off-the-ball lack of attention to detail with building an S-class. It doesn't feel special when you sit inside the car, with cheap plastics on the lower part of the seats and creaky trim panels that were rock solid on any older S-class. The unsophisticated way the bootlid automatically shuts with a quick thunk, instead of slowly and smoothly closing and no thunk. Mercedes are pushing tech, but forgetting about luxury and each generation are making their interiors look built to a cost and cheap and nasty.
