G60 and the upcoming C Class EV both look terrible, at least the C Class is its' own platform so it's not ruining the ICE version as well.

I fundamentally disagree with this.
There are cars that I thought were beautiful the moment I saw them, and they remain beautiful forever. I don't think anyone can look at the 300SL or Pagoda SL or the original 635i or Aston Martin DB9 or the Ferrari 458 Italia and so on, and argue that they were an "acquired taste" that they thought were ugly in the first instance. But all of these cars are enduringly beautiful.

I could argue that these examples transcend the ranks of higher volume manufactured 4 door products. I perhaps should have emphasized that I am referring to more commonplace, even ubiquitous, 4 door automobiles.
At least your examples of the 300SL and DB9 (but especially the later Virage) are bonafide works of art at least as much as they are automobiles. As far as more modern Ferraris are concerned, I shouldn't really comment. I've just never been the fan of those.
