To me, current generation 7er is a much better car overall. Past generations just looked like longer 5-Series models, which I wasn’t a fan of. G70 is definitely a proper flagship now, both design and technology-wise. It looks more upmarket than the S-Class too.The G11 S-Class had a harder time selling. The W223 is 5 years old and hasn't received a facelift. G70 sales have declined in its second year.

While the current S-Class looks flawless it just doesn’t look like a flagship, more like a LWB E-Class.
They better not mess it up with the facelift, I don’t want to be disappointed again like I currently am with this new GLC.
