Hot! Mercedes-Benz, What's Next?

Mercedes' new displays are cleverly designed. I think many brands will take note.
The unbroken screen looks great on the GLC. But I still hate the 3 separate screen look, especially the one on the CLA. So many brands are doing it now, and they look so cheap and tacky.

After seeing the new Cayenne interior, I would say MB interior design for the EVs is the one I am digging the most. That black GLC interior looks quite decent.
I was shocked when I saw that Cayenne’s interior. The curved screen looks cool but the overall execution is horrible. Looks like a cheap Chinese model.

this Mercedes was supposed to do.....

I think Mercedes screen solution looks best for now. The hyper screen will likely be an infrequent sight on the GLC I bet, at least initially. The three panel super screen will be very common. I find the most basic screen choice to be hilarious - it apparently just displays screen savers.

Mercedes' basic display options are generally very limited from the factory. Many of the vehicles we'll see will feature an active passenger display.

Yes, MBs screen philosophy might be best among the German rivals but honestly, I would prefer just a basic layout just like every other Chinese brand does. Give me standard instrument cluster screen + 15" central screen but make both in OLED with very thin black frame. Also the passenger screen is a waste of money that destroys the whole dashboard design.

Please MB also get rid of this busy UI that looks like windows vista. Stop 3D-rendering every menu und just offer clean, responsive and easy to navigate menu structures.

no its not wider, but might look like that because of the more aggressive bumper design.
Frankly, I don't think that this model is needed. I assume that this will be priced at 120k in Germany while offering the exact same stance. The 53 position seems to be the better deal, especially since the EU regulations made the cars so quite.

It isn’t for Europe. Mercedes is losing their arse here in the category against the M3/M4.

None of these cars are necessary. A CLE 450 is more than enough for most people.

But people don't buy them because they're necessary.
