Ok, there's something wrong with me.

This, on the other side, makes me want to drive a Volvo out of its comfort zone quite frequently. Skip to 2:49

challange:

try listening to "metallica - fuel (S&M)" and/or "motley crue - kickstart my heart" without speeding up

note: these songs starts with an engine accelerating in the start of the song

I do a lot of city driving and I find that listening to Jazz tends to calm my road rage. I also listen to jazz when flying (take off and landing, mostly) to calm my nerves. Without it I'd be one angry, anxious man :geek:

If I'm on my own which is rare I prefer to listen to folk pop (Passenger, Ed Sheeran, James Blunt), the kind of music that doesn't get the heart racing or will you to go fast. But if I were to suggest one which might have that effect would be Fleetwood Mac's 'The Chain'.

P.S.
Does any of you notice how your music tastes change once your kids are up a bit, like in their teens. I'm seldom in the car without one of them in tow and all I get to listen to their music... Eminem, Dr Dre and the likes. :dead:

Sad thing is I'm starting to get into it.

of course being a russ i've heard some good party songs but the range is limited in other genres for me

I thank Steve jobs for the Ipod. It's an absolute must for me that I can "close the day at work" by driving at home and listen to music. The genre (ENG ??) of music depends a lot on on my mood.
As for my kids... one of them likes music I just can not appreciate. It is like "Jump" or "House"... I don't know how it is called, but it turnes you crazy and makes your brain flued.
