I predict this car will be a huge hit for Ford. This is the big test for them, to see if people will pay more for a small car from Ford.
The new 2011 Mustang GT should be able to outrun the Camaro SS and Dodge Challenge SRT-8 now, it has almost the same power and much less weight. Can't wait to see the comparisions.
The rear and sides are just a mess, unfinished and look rushed. At least it will be a great driver.
The XTS Concept:
Really nice looking interior, but I just don't see how a car based on such a common FWD/AWD chassis (Buick LaCrosse) is going to compete with the S-Class, 7-Series, LS and the like. I don't see it happening.
No more concepts, this is the real deal this time. Base price is 375K for the U.S. and only "select" buyers will be allowed to lease then buy this vehicle.
IMO, this is the must stunning car Toyota has ever built in its entire history. Lexus has to follow this up with something. A GS-F or something. All this effort and exquisite engineering for just 500 cars and then back to snore mobiles??? NO WAY.
Will Lexus sell a premium hatchback in the U.S? Hmmm...
Its not a bad looking car at all, in fact its pretty good looking. However if Lexus tries to sell a tarted up Corolla here as a Lexus they will get a roasting from me...lol.
As some of you might remember, Steve Saleen is no longer a part of the company that bears his name. He has since started SMS Supercars, here is some oh his work:
He has taken his old creation, the S7 and tuned it to 1000hp now!
Most folks in Detroit have never seen these cars and especially these types of models. The attention given here was so thick you could cut it with knife. Great looking little car and it could help save Chrysler if they market it right.
Chrysler had a special edition 300 on show, the 300S. I couldn't get any good shots of it because of all the people.
What a handsome little car. I could see this being my next car while I put the Benz on weekend only duty. It really is a minature A5 though, unfortunately for Audi.
The Jaguar stand was hard to photograph because the cars were all on the floor and very tightly spaced:
The XJ:
The XJ has one hell of an interior. There might actually be too much wood on the doors! The exterior though is really goofy looking in L form, and barely acceptable in SWB form. I don't know about this car, that means it will probably be a hit considering that its different, powerful and very smartly priced. For the price of a S550 or 750Li, you get a 470hp XJL.
Even of the reps let it slip that this is fuzzy outline of the next CLS:
E-Class Cabrio and & Coupe:
I like the Cabrio, the E550 Cabrio to be exact. Mercedes did the E350 Cabrio no favors by displaying it in that awful Blue color and with out any AMG extras. I can't stand it.
The Mighty SLS AMG..........!!
Love this car. They were nice enough to open/close the doors for us...lol.
ML450 Hybrid:
E63 AMG:
A lone SL550:
Ditto CL550:
Ditto CLS550 Grand Edition:
GLK:
S400 Hybrid:
This is the best hybrid you'll ever want to ride it. It had a designo interior and every extra
imaginable. The S-Class is still my favorite of the segment. The car is just pure luxury.
