uh nearly a month went by
today i got the car back from my dealer - fully repaired of course
yep the odysee is finally over

over the past month i had several troubles with bmw austria, on telephone they were very inpolite and i'm really questioning (after this whole story) if my next car should be from the bmw family
all my requests were totally polite and constructive, but i got nothing but wierd answers(those where hardly answers)

Ouch, that did not sound good.

I don't know how your insurances work but I know I'm covered up to 100,000 kms regarding engine and the whole transmision.

uh since the new gearbox the cars consumption went from 10.4L to 8.8L

so it actually must have been damaged since i bought the car...weird

but i'm back loving this boy
the summer tires feel incredible
cruising in the city at night with a good electro beat, all traffic signals turned off, nearly no cars on the streets, passing city lights, having both windows down, hearing the tires when cornering through tight streets
this is life

Your lucky the power steering didn't go as well, thats a common problem in the 02 ones.

guess what just happened *i'm taking it with humor*

hm i guess its time to take a break with the mini brand
its hard to turn the head, but sometimes it needs to be done
i am probably(50:50) moving to vienna in october, so i need a reliable car for long distances and i don't see the mini giving me this reliability

And i hope all these problems don't occur on the 2002 Cooper s!

the Cooper S has the Getrag(a different one) transmission, due to the stronger engine
i don't think that there are any other differences
